We heard it was good, but our sandwiches truly exceeded expectations! The chips and the dill dip were a nice and very delicious surprise. There’s also a really cute outside eating area.

This place is amazing! We came in as a group of 5 and was able to get a majority of the menu. The menu is limited, but for good reason, everything on there is amazing! The welcome in to the shop is warm from the cashier. The paninis are to die for and we couldn't decide which sandwich is better. If the chance ever comes to cater from here then I would! Very delicious place to go to!

This sandwich place was an absolute success for our group and definitely hit the mark. I had been craving a sandwich all weekend on our trip to Traverse City and found this location through Google. We all adored the name of the restaurant and decided to try it out on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. This was my favorite meal we ate for the entire 4 day trip! We were greeted warmly by the staff and informed that they were working on a large catering order and explained that there would be a 20-25 min delay. This was fine by us because we wanted to walk around anyways and they took our number down so we could wander while we waited for our order. We ordered 3 different sandwiches and all of them were amazing and packed with loads of flavor. Our favorite sandwiches were the “Chubby Unicorn” and the “Thick Little Hottie”. The bread they make the sandwiches with is also super flavorful and fresh which definitely elevates the sandwich up a notch. Another extra delicious element was their house dill sauce and their kettle chips which everyone loved and devoured. I can’t wait to go back to Traverse City again and bring more people back to try more delicious creations at the Chubby Unicorn.

Place is small but it's an awesome place. Got the millionaire turkey paining and a cup of broccoli cheese soup. This was one of the best paninis I've every had. The bacon jam and truffle aioli......absolutely delicious!!!! Soup was good too.

First time trying the Chubby Unicorn for me. There’s a reason this place has a nearly perfect 5 star rating, and there is no doubt I will eat here every time I’m in Traverse City from now on. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, recommending the Thick Little Hottie sandwich, which I had… it was probably the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten in my 35 years of life. I cannot recommend this place enough. The sandwich was phenomenal, the chips were fresh, the broccoli cheddar soup was very cheesy and hearty with perfectly sized chunks of broccoli and carrots. This place is absolutely deserving of a lunch break if you are in the area and want a fantastic meal.
